The Freedom we won, The Prices we Pay,
The Humiliation we faced, Suppression of our Say,
Some People stood tall, holding their Sway,
Foot on the ground, whatever comes their Way,
Fighting for the Nation, keeping their problems at Bay,
Treading through Dangers, like they were Fay,
Tyrants asked to give up, they said NAY!
For Freedom & liberty, we are here to stay,
Defeating the usurpers, by preaching if I may,
Sacrifices they made, created this Constitution Day,
Salute to their sacrifices, we are free today, YAY!!
